Councillors

Sarah Davies

Hi,  I’m Sarah and I have lived in Full Sutton with my family (husband, 3 children and an ASBO cat) for nearly 19 years, we moved here from South Wales with our eldest with my husbands job.  I have been an active volunteer with many groups since my eldest was in preschool and my husband was an active member of the Parish Council for a number of years.  I  don’t have many hobbies (or in reality I have too many hobbies started and not finished…) but I used to make all sorts of celebration cakes, you may know me from that role or just to nod to as you walk your dog past my front door but I hope I’m always approachable and here to help if anyone has any questions.

Matthew Edwards

Hi my name is Matthew Edwards. I was brought up on a farm in High Catton. I now run the family business Graham Edwards Trailers ltd which operates from a site at Moor Lane, Full Sutton, and is also where my home is. I also have a small flock of sheep and an avid supporter of Hull City.

David Roberts

My wife Fiona and I “escaped to the country” a few years ago, after 25 years living within walking distance of Leeds city centre. I still work in the Leeds University Medical School, teaching human anatomy and working with the NHS to develop the skills of surgeons throughout Yorkshire and Humberside. In my spare time, I enjoy life drawing and photography.

Fiona Roberts

I’m a retired doctor and maths geek. I spent my childhood in a tiny village in Kent and my working life in several big cities. It’s great to once again live in the countryside and to try and help a small but vibrant community cope with the many challenges ahead.
